In the interest of sharing some research: Here's an interesting paper on a method for evaluating learned representations by comparing how two groups relate to each other in an embedding space using geometric/topological properties. Our team plans to apply this method to evaluate how embeddings change in time-series models during fine-tuning. I'll drop a message here later to share if the method is any good
